HYDERABAD: The team behind the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer "Animal" responded to veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar's recent criticism of the film. Javed Akhtar had expressed concerns about portraying certain characters and scenes in films like "Animal" and "Kabir Singh" during an Ajanta Ellora International Film Festival event.
The official handle of "Animal" took to social media to respond to Javed Akhtar's remarks, stating that if a writer of his 'caliber' cannot comprehend the intricacies of a lover's betrayal depicted in the film, then the entire art form is a 'big false.'
