38-year-old dies due to heart attack while playing badminton in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Days after a youth collapsed to death due to a heart attack while dancing at a wedding event, another such case was reported on Tuesday where a 38-year-old man died of cardiac arrest while playing badminton at Professor Jayashankar Indoor stadium in Lalapet of Hyderabad.

Reportedly, the incident took place at around 7.30 pm. According to the police and family members, Shyam Yadav, a private employee, had a habit of playing badminton daily after office hours.

On Tuesday too, he went to play, during which he collapsed and was shifted to a hospital by other players. He was decalared dead due to cardiac arrest. The police reportedly handed over the dead body to the family members.
