Amberpet Flyover: Route between Junction 6-T Junction closed from August 16 until construction ends
All vehicular traffic would be routed to the following alternate routes on an as-needed basis
HYDERABAD: Hyderabad traffic police will close the route from 6 No. Junction to Amberpet T. Junction on NH-163 (Old 202) from August 16, 2023, until construction work on the superstructure work of the Amberpet Flyover from 6 No. Junction to Amberpet T. junction on NH-163 (Old 202) is completed.
All vehicular traffic would be routed to the following alternate routes on an as-needed basis. To avoid disruption and to cooperate with the Hyderabad Traffic Police, commuters are encouraged to take the alternate routes listed below.
The alternative routes are as follows
- RTC buses and heavy vehicles travelling from Uppal to 6 No Junction will be detoured at Amberpet T Junction - Ali Cafe-Zindatilismath- Golnaka new bridge - Golnaka-Nimboliadda- Tourist - TY Mandali.
- RTC buses and heavy vehicles are not permitted between Golnaka and 6. General motor traffic, including two and four wheelers, would be permitted.
- RTC buses and heavy vehicles will not be allowed from Zindatilismath to the 6 No. junction. General vehicular traffic, including two- and four-wheelers, would be allowed.
- General Traffic coming from Tilaknagar towards Uppal would be diverted at 6 no Junction - Zindatilismath – Ali Cafe – Amberpet T Junction.
- Heavy vehicles coming from Chaderghat would be diverted at Nimboliadda towards tourist.
- Heavy vehicles coming from LB Nagar & Boduppal would be diverted at Uppal towards Tarnaka.
Hyderabad traffic police have urged the citizens to take note of the above diversions and take alternative routes or avoid the above routes to reach their destination.
