HYDERABAD: In a noteworthy display of corporate social responsibility (CSR), M/s Aurigene Pharmaceuticals Limited, based in Bollarum, Hyderabad, has adopted an African lion Manohar for the fourth consecutive year at Nehru Zoological park in Hyderabad.

As a part of the adoption process, representatives from the company, including Ashutosh Anil Kotwal (Head – HR & Administration), B L N Deepak (Safety Health & Environment), and Satyanaryana Giri (BU Head – Safety, Health, and Environment), visited Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad. During their visit, they presented a cheque of Rs. 3 lakhs to Dr. Sunil S. Hiremath, the curator of Nehru Zoological Park, as a contribution towards the adoption charges for the African Lion.

During their visit, the Aurigene Pharmaceuticals representatives conveyed their contentment, having observed the vibrant and well-maintained conditions of animals in the zoo enclosures. They highlighted the significance of corporate engagement in wildlife conservation and commended Nehru Zoological Park for its exemplary standards of hygiene and maintenance.

Dr. Sunil S. Hiremath, curator of Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad thanked M/s Aurigene Pharmaceuticals Limited, Bollarum, Hyderabad, for their ongoing commitment to adopting the African Lion (Manohar) for the fourth consecutive year as part of CSR activities. He hailed their passion for wildlife conservation and caring for maintenance charges in the zoo. Dr. Hiremath urged everyone to join in and contribute to wildlife conservation by either adopting or donating funds for the well-being of wild animals.
