Balanagar Flyover named after Babu Jagjivan Ram

HYDERABAD: Acknowledging the contribution of India’s Former Deputy Prime Minister Babu Jagjivan Ram, the BRS Government has decided to rename the Balanagar Flyover after him on his death anniversary.

Releasing a Government Order confirming the change, the State Government said, “Late Babu Jagjivan Ram has rendered yeoman service as a Former Deputy Prime Minister, freedom fighter, a crusader of social justice, a champion of depressed classes and as an outstanding Parliamentarian. The Government, while respectfully acknowledging his contribution has decided to name ‘Balanagar Flyover’ as ‘Dr Babu Jagjivan Ram Flyover’.”
