HYDERABAD:This is a new formula of Plagiarism, as devised by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Two Union Ministers G Kishan Reddy and Anurag Thakur intend to be present and embarrass the organisers of Formula E race by wangling an invite to flag off the race, and usurp the opportunity from its conceiver and Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao.

The BJP doesn’t seem to believe in copyrights. It strongly vouches for the devious means of “copying is right”.

It’s nothing but licking of their own proverbial wound for the BJP Ministers at the Centre. The BJP, especially its Telangana unit president Bandi Sanjay Kumar, went all out to spit fire on the Formula E-Prix of Hyderabad until Friday. The BJP spurned the idea of conducting of the race in the arterial roads of the city blocking traffic from all directions.

It’s only after 30,000 tickets were sold out and there is a demand for another 30,000 and the positive buzz created around the first of its kind global race being conducted in Hyderabad that the BJP realised it needs to cash in on the efforts of KTR, and Telangana Government.

The Telangana bureaucracy walked several miles extra faster than the racing cars to quickly put things together and bring the prestigious event to Hyderabad.

They toiled day in and out to get every thing right, not to take any chances.

KTR is slated for flagging off the event. But as if to usurp the chance from him, the Union Ministers decided to “attend” the event. The All-India Radio, the quasi-government arm, tweeted that Anurag Thakur and Kishen Reddy would “attend” the event.

The only way, the Telangana Government to pay the BJP back on the same coin is to get Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for the inauguration.

But will that happen?
