HYDERABAD: British High Commissioner to India Alexander Ellis called on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday. He assured full-fledged support in the implementation of riverfront and eco-tourism projects in the State.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy explained to the High Commssioner that his Government intended to develop the Musi riverfront along the lines of the Thames in London. He said that he visited the Thames riverfront during his recent visit to London and was impressed by the way the river was secured and also developed to attract tourists.

The British High Commssioner while appreciating the move of the Telangana Government for the protection of the command area of Musi River and the riverfront in Hyderabad said that the British Government would extend all the support.

Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, CM Special Secretary Ajit Reddy, and British Deputy High Commissioner Gareth Wynn Owen were also present.
