B.Tech student dies by suicide over alleged harrasment by loan app agents

HYDERABAD: Another youngster, a victim of loan app harassment, allegedly died by suicide in Hyderabad. The victim identified as Seelam Manoj (20), was studying in B.Tech third year.
According to the reports, Manoj took the loan through the loan apps and was depressed as he was harassed by loan app agents to pay the EMIs of the loan.

Loan app agents reportedly called his relatives, parents, and friends. Manoj, who is a native of Kothagudem, was studying at Dundigal Aeronautical College in Hyderabad.
An FIR was registered at the Gudimalkapur police station, and further investigation is underway. The police handed-over the dead body to his parents after the post-mortem.
