HYDERABAD: Denying the claims by the protestors, ACP Chikadpally A Yadagiri revealed on Saturday that 25-year-old Marri Pravalika died by suicide after her boyfriend cheated on her for another marriage.
A case was registered, postmortem conducted, and her remains moved to Warangal. Protesters claimed that the suicide was due to TSPSC exam postponement and cancellations, but it was clear that the suicide was caused by her boyfriend's cheating, said the ACP.
ACP Chikadpally A Yadagiri told NewsTAP, " After examining her phone records, WhatsApp chats, and friends, it was discovered that she died by suicide after her boyfriend cheated her and committed to marry someone else. The girl revealed to her friends that her boyfriend had cheated on her and had fixed his marriage with someone else. The protestors, who led the protest, will face action for throwing stones, spreading false agendas, and making manipulative speeches, violating the Election Model Code of Conduct. The protesters' infused the TSPSC angle, given the large student population in the surrounding areas, fueling mob psychology. Hence the protests.''
