Criminal case against Daggubati Suresh Babu, Rana; court issues summons

HYDERABAD: In a new twist to the Film Nagar land dispute controversy, the Nampally court has taken on file a criminal case against renowned film producer Suresh Babu and his actor son Rana Daggubati and summoned them to attend the trial.

A businessman named Pramod Kumar complained to the Banjara Hills police stating that he was forcibly thrashed by the rowdies and threatened to leave the land located at Film Nagar. He alleged that Suresh Babu and Rana Daggubati were behind this..

As the Banjara Hills Police ignored the complaint, the victim moved the court wherein the Nampally court registered a case against Suresh Babu, Daggubati Rana, and some others without police interference. The court directed the father-son duo to attend the investigation.
