CV Anand emphasised the essential need of being attentive in the threadbare evaluation of the City Security Wing (CSW), which deploys guards for VIP protection
HYDERABAD: City Police Commissioner CV Anand on Tuesday reviewed security aspects and deployment readiness for upcoming elections and religious events.
The review involved the City Security Wing and other CAR units, which handle armed force deployment, logistics, and fleet management.
He emphasised the essential need of being attentive in the threadbare evaluation of the City Security Wing (CSW), which deploys guards for VIP protection.
"The protection of the protectee must be your top priority," he said. Anand urged them to uphold the greatest levels of health and discipline in their professions. He also informed CSW staff that measures would be made to improve their working conditions.
The inspection also included a visit to the Mounted Police unit, where he personally inquired about the 46 horses and 26 dogs' health and well-being. The commissioner asked the caretakers, unit staff officers, and vet doctors to keep the horses and canines in top condition and good health. He also went over the dog kennels and horse stables, inquiring about their diet, upkeep, exercise, and training plans.
Anand hailed the Home Guards Commandant's role in assisting the police force and traffic management. He also dedicated a new unit canteen within the City Security Wing's grounds. This new facility offered a convenient and comfortable dining option for CSW staff round the clock.
M.Srinivasalu, Joint Commissioner of Police (CAR & Training), Alex, DCP CSW, and other officers briefed CV Anand on ongoing activities, infrastructure projects within CAR, and their shortages and requirements.
