Telangana ICCC celebrates first anniversary

HYDERABAD: The Telangana State Police Integrated Command and Control Centre (TSPICCC), inaugurated a year ago, is gearing up to expand its impact across the state and Hyderabad Commissioner of Police CV Anand, who was recently given the rank of DGP, took charge as the director of TSPICCC Tower-B, which takes care of statewide operations, on Monday.
Another government order mentioned that a Director (ADG rank officer) with 400 other officers, including one Deputy Inspector General, two Superintendent of Police personnel, four Assistant Superintendent of Police personnels, Inspectors and Sub-Inspectors, would manage the operations to enhance the efficiency of TSPICCC.
After taking charge as the Director, CV Anand, addressing the staff officers, asked them to synergise and leverage technology, data analysis, apps and other elements of the TSPICC to render good service to the public. He also said that workers of other departments like the GHMC, irrigation department etc, could relocate to the Centre to start the process of multi agency operations.
The meeting also included formulation of targets, work allotment to the officers, meticulous budget projections, and the articulation of a comprehensive action plan. Discussions were made to initiate tenders for establishing vital amenities within the building, including a canteen and gymnasium.
The strategic decision to relocate Dial 100 and reinforce existing wings while introducing new ones, further underlined the State Government’s consistent commitment to fortify law enforcement capabilities. The resources of TSPICCC would mitigate emerging challenges to fortify security and render swift responses to all calamities through the multi-agency operations centre, disaster and crisis Management centre in this building.
