HYDERABAD: Cyberabad Traffic Police (CTP) conducted a special drive against wrong-side driving on Friday at several locations in Cyberabad, resulting in the booking of four FIRs and 32 vehicles.

The cases included one FIR with five vehicles in KPHB, another with three vehicles in Kukatpally, six vehicles in Madhapur, 11 vehicles in Narsingi, and two FIRs with a total of 20 vehicles in Raidurgam, making a total of 10 FIRs and 77 vehicles.

FIRs were lodged at respective Law & Order Police Stations under Section 336 of the IPC, which can lead to imprisonment for up to 3 months, a fine, or both.

Additionally, CTP identified 124 locations prone to wrong-way driving. Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras are being installed at these spots to automatically detect violations and issue fines.
