Cyberabad police impose Section 144, bans gatherings near exam centers
The order will be effective from 10:30 AM to 12 p.m and 2 p.m to 4 p.m on April 7, 2024, at all examination centers conducting admission tests for Model Schools
HYDERABAD: To maintain public order and prevent disturbances, Cyberabad police commissioner Avinash Mohanty, under Section 144 Cr.P.C., has prohibited assemblies of five or more persons within 200 metres of examination centres conducting admission tests for model schools in Cyberabad city limits.
Assembly of five or more persons within a 200-metre radius of all examination centres conducting admission tests for model schools in Class VI and for remaining seats in classes VII to X for the academic year 2024–25, scheduled to be held from April 7, 2024, from 10:30 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm, is prohibited.
The following are exempt from this order: police officers on duty, military personnel on duty, home guards on duty, flying squad, education department, and funeral processions.
The order will be effective from 10:30 AM to 12 p.m and 2 p.m to 4 p.m on April 7, 2024, at all examination centers conducting admission tests for Model Schools in Class VI, and for remaining seats in classes VII to X for the academic year 2024-25. Any person violating this order shall be liable for prosecution under Section 144 Cr.P.C.
