E-Auction for Budwel plots kicks off today

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) began an online auction of Budwel plots at 11 am on Thursday, as scheduled.

Buyers, bidders and developers were seen enthusiastically participating in the bidding process. HMDA advocates made compelling arguments at the High Court during the hearing on Budwel lands.

The land records were handed over to the advocates by HMDA senior officials and Government officials who were present at the High Court hearing. Advocates heard arguments based on records indicating that all Budwel lands were owned by the Government.

The High Court refused to grant the auction of Budwel lands. Bidders were seen participating more aggressively in the auction after learning of the High Court's refusal to grant a stay to the auction of Budwel lands.
