ED summons actor Navdeep on Oct 10 in drug trafficking case

HYDERABAD: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned actor Navdeep to appear before the agency on October 10, concerning the 2017 drug trafficking case.

The Tollywood actor was recently questioned by the Telangana State Anti Narcotics Bureauregarding a case registered in Gudimalkapur station. The police suspect that Navdeep was in contact with Nigerian drug pedlars who were arrested by the Bengaluru police in September.

The ED, while clubbing the 2017 case probing the money laundering angle with that of the latest one, would be questioning the actor on October 10 in Hyderabad. Navdeep has failed to appear before the ED twice so far. Earlier, the ED also questioned several Tollywood actors including Rakulpreet Singh and kingpin Calvin Mascarenhas in connection with the 2017 case
