Eight fall ill after consuming contaminated Biryani at Mandi in Shadnagar

HYDERABAD: A man went to the hotel with his family to celebrate his wedding anniversary. He ordered Mandi biryani and they had it. After a while, all eight family members had nausea and started vomiting.

They were admitted to the hospital. The incident took place in Shadnagar town of Rangareddy district.

Kavi Narender, a resident of Appareddyguda village under Shadnagar, had gone to Sai Baba family restaurant in Shadnagar town with his family members to have 'mandi biryani " at 9 pm on Wednesday.

While Narender is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Shamshabad, others were discharged following treatment. According to doctors, food poisoning was the reason for their illness and it was caused by contaminated food.
