Etela Rajender discusses Goshamahal seat with BJP youth leader Vikram Goud

HYDERABAD: In a significant development, Huzurabad BJP MLA and Chairman of Telangana BJP's election management committee on Friday met BJP youth leader and former minister Mukesh Goud's son Vikram Goud over lunch in Mozamjahi Market in Goshamahal and discussed the latest political situation in the constituency.

The meeting has got political importance as Etela Rajender met Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh and Vikram Goud in the last three days. It seems the discussions were held on the BJP candidate from the Goshamahal constituency in the next elections.

However Vikram Goud, while speaking to media, clarified that the meeting was just a courtesy call. He said that Etela was like his family member and shared a good relationship. Stating that his family has had a strong association with the people of Goshamahal constituency for the past 40 years, Vikram Goud stated that he would like to contest on a BJP ticket in the upcoming elections from the Goshamahal constituency and would also seek the support of the current MLA Raja Singh.

When questioned about the revoking of the suspension on Raja Singh, Vikram Goud said that the matter fell under the purview of BJP's central leadership and expressed confidence that the national leadership would consider Raja Singh's services to the party and take an appropriate decision. There were speculations that the Central leadership was contemplating to shift Raja Singh to Zaheerabad to contest for the Parliamentary seat.
