Excise Circle Inspector dies, SI injured as car hits their motorcycle at LB Nagar

HYDERABAD: In a tragic road accident occurred at midnight in LB Nagar, a Circle Inspector of Excise department died and a sub-inspector suffered severe injuries after their bike was hit by a car on Tuesday night.

The accident occurred when a car, taking a u-turn and veering onto the wrong route, hit the bike.

The victims identified as CI Sadiq Ali working at the Charminar Excise Police Station and SI Kaja Valli Mohinuddin, serving at the Narayana Guda Excise Police Station. They reside at government quarters at Malakpet.

The duo went to LB Nagar to attend a function and while they were en route to quarters in Malakpet were hit by the car leaving the CI dead and the SI injured. The police have registered a case and investigating it.
