Food safety task force raids Alpha Hotel in Secunderabad, seize foods beyond expiry

HYDERABAD: Food Safety Task Force officers raided the famous Alpha hotel near Secunderabad railway station and found food items without manufacture or expiry dates, rotting meat, and other cooking material.

The officials found stored meat and raw materials in the fridge for a long time. They also seized Alpha brand ice cream which was sold to customers without a date. Similarly, the Alpha brand bread packets were found without dates.

The officials registered a case against Alpha Hotel for violating the rules.
