Free Haleem offer causes chaos, traffic nightmare at Malakpet
Malakpet Police booked a case against Azebo Hotel owner
HYDERABAD: Malakpet Police have filed a case against the owner of Azeb restaurant in Moosarambagh for creating a nuisance and causing traffic congestion.
On the first day of Ramadan, the hotel management announced free Haleem. Their PR team enlisted several local food bloggers to advertise the free Haleem, attracting hundreds of people to the hotel. However, the hotel was unprepared to handle the influx, leading to considerable chaos. Consequently, the police had to intervene to manage the situation, resorting even to a mild lathi-charge to control the crowd.
Restoring normalcy and traffic in the area proved challenging for the police. Subsequently, Malakpet Police lodged a case against the hotel owner for the nuisance and traffic congestion, which caused significant inconvenience to the general public.
