Ganesh idol immersion: Traffic restrictions in Cyberabad till September 29
The Cyberabad Police have imposed traffic restrictions to ensure free flow of traffic on the roads in view of the immersion of Ganesh Idols from September 26 to 29, 2023
HYDERABAD: The Cyberabad Police have imposed traffic restrictions to ensure free flow of traffic on the roads in view of the immersion of Ganesh Idols at various tanks/lakes in Cyberabad Police Commissionerate from September 26 to 29, 2023.
Regulation of traffic on IDL Tank, Kukatpally Road:
- From September 26 to 29, the road would be closed from IDL tank entrance to rainbow vista T-Junction for general traffic to facilitate immersion processions.
- The vehicles of the visitors / Public would not be allowed towards IDL Tank.
- Traffic coming from Kukatpally ‘Y’ Junction to Hitech City Madhapur needs to take JNTU, Forum Mall road towards Hitech City, Madhapur.
- Traffic coming from Hitech city, Madhapur to Kukatpally ‘Y’ junction via Kaithalapur shall take Rainbow vista - Moosapet road towards Kukatpally ‘Y’ Junction, Balanagar.
Regulation of traffic for Ganesh Idol Immersion procession near Hasmathpet Tank, Alwal:
The vehicles carrying Ganesh Idols from Bowenpally and other colonies of Secunderabad should enter Hasmathpet tank via Anjaiahnagar and after the immersion of idols, the empty vehicles shall exit towards
- Old Bowenpally
- Mosque road
- Harijan basthi.
Regulation of traffic for Ganesh Idol Immersion procession near Suraram Katta Maisamma Tank:
- The vehicles coming from Balanagar and Jeedimetla proceeding towards Bahadurpally, Bachupally and Gandimaisamma junction would be diverted at Suraram Village near Sub Registrar office, Bowrampet, Gandimaisamma.
- The vehicles coming from Gandimaisamma, Bachupally proceeding towards Jeedimetla, Balanagar would be diverted at Bahadurpally Junction take a left turn via Dulapally village T junction – Industrial Area Local Authority (IALA) Jeedimetla.
Restrictions of Ganesh idols on flyovers.
The vehicles carrying Ganesh idol would not be allowed on Fathenagar fly over, Hi-tech city Railway station fly over, Forum Mall Fly over Babu Jagjivan Ram flyover (Balanagar), Kaithalapur flyover due to safety issues.
Restrictions of heavy vehicles:
- Heavy vehicles would not be allowed to ply on the following roads/areas:
- Vehicles coming from Sangareddy towards Kukatpally would be diverted on to ORR.
- Balanagar to Fathenagar bridge
- Godrej to Erragadda
- Ferozguda to Godrej ‘Y’ Junction, Kukatpally
- Gudenmet to Narsapur ‘X’ road
- Vehicles coming from Ashok nagar, Beeramguda diverted towards Bachupally, Gandimaisamma and ORR
Road Diversion:
- All heavy vehicles (including buses) coming from BHEL, Chandanagar and Miyapur towards Ameerpet shall take diversion at Miyapur X road, take left and proceed towards Bachupally, Bowarmpet, Gandimaisamma take left turn towards ORR.
- Heavy Goods vehicles coming from Gachibowli and Patencheru towards Aramghar and Attapur shall not get down at Exit No. 17 (Himayat Sagar), instead they should proceed straight on ORR and could get down at ORR Exit No.16 (Shamshabad).
- The above restrictions would be imposed on September 26 from 6 am to September 29 till completion of immersion activities in the interest of the general public and the road users.
