Gang of two held for series of thefts in Medchal-Malkajgiri

HYDERABAD: The Medipally police have arrested a gang of two for resorting to a series of thefts at Boduppal of Chengicharla in Medchal Malkajgiri district. The two thieves were identified as Rapolu Krishna (19) hailing from Mahabubabad district and Sampangi Sambaiah (37) from Nekkonda in Hanamkonda district who have a history of criminal activities and were booked under various cases.

The duo migrated to Hyderabad for livelihood and made a living by doing centering work. As their earning was not sufficient to meet their luxurious needs, the duo started resorting to robbery. However, during a special operation, the Medipally Police apprehended the duo and recovered 25 tolas of gold and silver items along with a bike from their possession and sent them to remand. Together, they had burgled seven houses.
