GHMC commissioner Roland Rose inspected nala works in Old City along with Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi

HYDERABAD: Commissioner of GHMC Ronald Rose has asked officials to speed up storm water drains works undertaken from Yakuthpura, Maulika Chilla Ganganagar to Bhavani Nagar and also restoration works of Sardar Mahal building, Charminar.

The Commissioner, along with Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, inspected the SWD nala works from Ganga Nagar to Bhavani Nagar and the Commissioner wanted the officials to complete the works well before monsoon to avoid inundation in the city during rainy season.

During the inspection at Moghalpura Sports Complex, the Commissioner asked the officials to identify suitable buildings for shifting the offices of various GHMC departments from the sports complex and take up repair works of swimming pool.

Later, the Commissioner inspected the progress of renovation works of Sardar Mahal, Charminar,

and multilevel parking works at Charminar and asked them to expedite them.

MLAs Mir Zulfekar Ali, Zafar Hussain Miraj, MLC Mirza Rahmath Baig, Corporator Sohel Qadri, and others participated in the inspection.
