Stay Informed: Monitor weather updates and alerts through reliable sources like local news and weather apps.

Respond Quickly: Evacuate low-lying areas and move to higher ground if there is any possibility of a flash flood.

Avoid Travel: Limit travel only when necessary. If you must drive, be cautious of slick roads and reduced visibility. Avoid flooded roads and washed-out bridges. Also, see alerts on TV from the Traffic Police Department regarding traffic congestion.

Watch Your Step: Stay away from nalas, manholes, sewerage lines, gutters, sharp objects, and debris.

Stay Away from Power Lines: Be cautious of fallen power lines and report them to the local Electricity Department immediately. Assume all wires on the ground and street light poles are electrically charged and dangerous.

Evacuation Plan: Know your local evacuation routes and have a plan in place in case you need to leave your home.

Building Collapse: Building collapse is a possibility. Stop all cellar-digging/wall construction activities and move labor camps away from the construction site.

Be Community Aware: Check on neighbors, especially the elderly, disabled, children, or those who may live alone, to ensure they are aware of the weather situation and have taken necessary precautions.
