HMDA declares holiday to parks around Telangana secretariat on June 22

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has announced a holiday to the parks in the surrounding areas of Dr. BR Ambedkar Telangana state secretariat on June 22 in view of the inauguration of Telangana Martyrs Memorial in front of the secretariat.

Accordingly, Lumbini Park, NTR Ghat, and NTR Garden under the Buddha Purnima Project (BPP) will remain closed on Thursday to avoid inconvenience to the general public and visitors to the parks.

Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao will inaugurate the Telangana Martyrs Memorial on June 22 as part of the last day of the decennial celebrations of Telangana state formation day.
