Hyderabad: 30-day traffic diversions to facilitate repair works of Adikmet ROB from October 12, 2023

HYDERABAD: Traffic restrictions have been put up in place by Hyderabad Police in connection with the closure of "Adikmet Bridge/ROB/flyover” to facilitate repair works to the Adikmet ROB. Traffic will be diverted on the below mentioned routes for 30 days i.e, from October 12, 2023 to November 11, 2023 to minimize the inconvenience for road users/commuters.

TRAFFIC DIVERSIONS:

Between 5 am and 10 pm, heavy vehicles, including RTC buses coming through Vidyanagar ‘Y’ Junction, intending to proceed towards Tarnaka, Habsiguda, Secunderabad, Lalapet, ECIL, Nacharam, Moulali will be diverted at Vidyanagar ‘Y’ Junction to take strait on Vidyanagar ROB – NCC onto Osmania University Road i.e Not allowed on Adikmet flyover/ROB.

All LMVs two, three, four wheelers coming through Vidyanagar ‘Y’ Junction, intending to proceed towards Tarnaka or Chilkalguda or Secunderabad will be diverted at Ramnagar T Junction towards Ramnagar Gundu to take Lalithanagar-BoudhanagarRoad-Warasiguda-Namalagundu-Seethafalmandi Junction- Seetafalmandi ROB to join on OU road at Seethafalmandi T Junction near EFLU. i.e Not allowed on Adikmet flyover/ROB.

Between 10 pm and 5 am, heavy vehicles coming from Vidyanagar ‘Y’ Junction –Ramnagar T Junction towards Ramnagar Gundu will be diverted from Ramnagar Gundu towards Ramnagar X road. Heavy vehicles will not be allowed either onto OU Road or Lalitha Nagar Road.

Between 5 am and 10 pm, heavy vehicles, including RTC buses coming through Tarnaka junction and intending to go towards Vidyanagar - Hindi Mahavidyalaya - Shankar Mutt - Fever Hospital road will be diverted at OU ‘Y’ junction to take on Osmania University Road – NCC - Vidyanagar road i.e not allowed on to Adikmet flyover/ROB.

All LMVs two, three, four wheelers coming through Tarnaka junction intending to proceed towards Vidyanagar - Hindi Mahavidyalaya - Shankar Mutt - Fever Hospital road will be diverted at Prof. Rami Reddy Distance Education Centre (PGRDC) towards Boudhanagar X Road i.e Not allowed on Adikmet flyover/ROB.

Between 10 pm and 5 am, heavy vehicles coming from Tarnaka Junction will be diverted at Seethafalmandi T Junction towards ROB Seethafalmandi. Heavy vehicles will not be allowed on either O.U Road or Adikmet Road. Further, these heavy vehicles shall not be allowed towards Warasiguda Road and will be diverted at Seethafalmandi Junction towards Chilkalguda Road.
