Hyderabad customs seize gold worth Rs. 3 crore, two women held

HYDERABAD: Customs officials at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad confiscated 4.59 kg gold worth Rs. 3 crore from two passengers on Monday.
Customs officials were suspicious of the two women after the duo tried to deceive them by hiding gold chains in their luggage bag. However, officials discovered gold biscuits worth Rs. 3 crore concealed in their under garments after a thorough investigation.
Officials seized the gold and arrested the two women, as well as two other passengers from Dubai. Further investigation is underway.
