Hyderabad police arrest former BRS Minister Malla Reddy, son-in-law in land dispute issue
Followers of Malla Reddy and Rajasekhar Reddy were instructed to remove the illegal barricades on the disputed land
HYDERABAD: Former BRS minister Malla Reddy and his son-in-law, Rajasekhar Reddy, were detained by Hyderabad police on Saturday in Qutubullapur. According to reports, Malla Reddy had an argument with the police, claiming that his property had been encroached upon.
It was reported that some individuals occupied the land belonging to MLA Mallar Reddy and his son-in-law Rajasekhar Reddy in the Pet Bashirabad police station area by erecting barricades.
Followers of Malla Reddy and Rajasekhar Reddy were instructed to remove the illegal barricades on the disputed land. Tensions escalated when Malla Reddy questioned the police, asking how they could allow the installation of fencing.
