Hyderabad police nab two interstate ganja sellers, 1.7 kg of ganja seized

HYDERABAD: Sleuths from the Commissioner's Task Force, west zone team apprehended two interstate ganja sellers on Sunday. The police recovered 1.7 kg ganja worth Rs 30,000 from them.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force Nikita Pant said that the two accused were identified as Syed Fayaz, a native of Hyderabad, and Saroj Kumar Das from Narsipur, Kendujhar, Odisha. One among the accused, Saroj Kumar Das, was residing at Siddiq Nagar in Hitech City in the city. He came to Hyderabad five years ago for job purposes and worked as manager in Ohris Bar, Cyber pal building in Hi-tech City, she said.
The DCP said that Saroj Kumar Das was habituated to a lavish life and felt the income he was earning was insufficient to meet his family needs. He informed his friend Syed Fayaz and procured ganja from Pappu, a ganja seller in Odisha, at a low price and supplied the same to the needy customers at exorbitant prices at Site-I, Opp. Vijaya Theatre, Borabanda, Hyderabad, Nikita Pant added.
