HYDERABAD: The Commissioners Task Force, Central Zone Sub-inspector S.Sai Kiran, Abid Road and Domalguda police stations conducted raids on four mobile shops in Hyderabad and arrested four for selling duplicate Apple phones.
Police arrested four individuals involved in illegally procuring and selling duplicate mobile Apple accessories at three mobile shops in Jagadish Market and one shop in Himayat Nagar.
Police conducted a raid on Jai Rajeshwar Mobile store, New Collection Mobile Store, P.S Telecom Mobile Shop in Jagadish Market, and Trinity/Migilore police station in Himayat Nagar.
They printed and affixed Apple logos and images on the accessories and sold duplicate Apple accessories to the customers, claiming to be genuine products and earned easy profits by cheating innocent customers.
They apprehended accused persons Bharata Ram, Padam Singh, Visaram Purohit were handed over to SHO Abids police station and G. Shiva Vara Prasad handed over to SHO Domalguda police station for further action and Dinesh Kumar Sawlani, Proprietor of Trinity Shop is found absconding.
