Hyderabad police rescues baby girl within 5 hours of kidnap

HYDERABAD: South Zone police along with the Bahadurpura crime team rescued an 18-month-old girl and arrested two women within five hours in connection with the kidnapping case under Bahadurpura police station limits.
The prime accused, Naseem Begum (age 62), a mother of four children, was upset that her eldest daughter, 32-year-old Ayesha Begum, did not have children and decided to abduct an 18-month-old baby girl from Kishan Bagh Park and hand it over to Ayesha Begum.
Based on credible information, the Bahadurpura police team divided into three squads, investigated over 100 CCTV cameras. The Bahadurpura Police apprehended the woman and the baby while they were traveling to her daughter's residence in Nawab Sahab Kunta within five hours of the kidnapping.
The police identified the main accused, Naseem Begum, with the help of locals, successfully rescued an 18-month-old infant girl, and handed her over to her parents within five hours. The two accused would be produced before the court.
The arrest was conducted under the supervision of A Sudhakar, ACP Falaknuma Division, and crime teams from Bahadurpura, Kalapathar, and Falaknuma police stations Hyderabad.
A case was registered under the IPC of Bahadurpura police station under the number 1.Cr. No. 316/2023, U/s 363, R/w 34.
