Hyderabad to witness Ursids meteor showers from December 16-23

HYDERABAD: Sky-gazers in the city are in for a celestial treat with the Ursids meteor shower will grace the city's skies, marking the final major meteor event of the year.
Planetary Society of India, Hyderabad director Raghunandan Kumar has said that everyone can directly witness the meteor showers from December 16 to 23.
Bright meteor showers could be witness at different times from 9 pm to 5 am.

Patheon, an asteroid, entered Earth's orbit a few months ago while orbiting the Sun. It collided and disintegrated into small meteorites.
