Hyderabad traffic police issue advisory for 'Fish Prasadam' distribution at Exhibition Grounds

HYDERABAD: The city traffic police have issued traffic advisories in view of the distribution of “Fish Prasadam” at Exhibition Ground, Nampally, from June 8-9, 2024, in Hyderabad.

Moderate traffic congestion is expected on the roads around Exhibition Ground. The below-mentioned diversions will be enforced in the surroundings of Exhibition Ground, Nampally, and adjoining junctions on a need basis from June 8 at 12 a.m. to June 9 until 6 a.m.

The following Diversions/Alighting and Parking places will be made, if required as per the local situation:

• People coming in four-wheelers from Nampally side for Fish Prasadam will park their vehicles at Gruha Kalpa, Gagan Vihar & Chandra Vihar and proceed on foot towards Exhibition Ground Gate No. 2 for Fish Prasadam.
• People are coming for Fish Prasadam in buses/vans from M.J. Market will alight at Gandhi Bhavan Bus Stop. Buses/vans coming from Nampally will alight at Gruha Kalpa Bus Stop and proceed to Exhibition Ground Gate No. 2 for Fish Prasadam.
• All VIP car pass holders coming from M.J. Market will proceed towards Ajantha Gatge, Gandhi Bhavan, and take a left turn towards Gate No. 1 and CWC Gate towards VIP Entry Gate. VIP car pass holders coming from Nampally will take a “U” turn at Gandhi Bhavan and take a left turn towards Gate No. 1 and CWC Gate towards VIP Entry Gate. Their vehicles will be parked at VIP Parking area.
• After taking the Prasadam, the VIP Cars will exit from VIP Gate, CWC Gate, Adab Hotel, and take a left turn and proceed towards Nampally.
• People coming on two-wheelers for Fish Prasadam from M.J. Market will park their vehicles at Manoranjan Complex parking area. Two-wheelers coming from Nampally will park their vehicles on the left side of the road earmarked for two-wheelers between Gruha Kalpa and BJP Office.
• Auto alighting areas are arranged for people coming for Fish Prasadam in front of Shezan Hotel, Bhavani Wines/Juvenile court, and Excise Office. Parking areas for the autos are allotted on the left side of the road.
• Government vehicles, buses/vans will be parked at MAM Girls Junior College, Nampally, Hyderabad.
• Vehicles coming from the M.J. Market side will be diverted towards Abids, GPO Nampally, Hyderabad.
• Water tankers of HMWS and vehicles of the Fisheries Department bringing fish to the Exhibition Ground will be allowed from Gate No. 3.
• Vehicles of voluntary organizations carrying food materials with valid passes will be allowed from Gate No. 3.
• General traffic coming from the M.J. Bridge and Begum Bazar Chatri and proceeding towards Nampally will be diverted at Alaska towards Darusalam, Ek Minar, etc.

Citizens were also requested to cooperate with the Hyderabad traffic police.
