Hyderabad witnesses sudden rains, to continue for next few hours

HYDERABAD: Heavy rains lashed in Hyderabad on Tuesday, and South Hyderabad might see more in the coming hours. The city would witness heavy rains and powerful thunderstorms for the next two hours, according to the Telangana Weatherman.
Areas like Malakpet, Nampally, Charminar, Saroornagar, Saidabad, Bahadurpura, Bandlaguda, Falaknuma, Mehdipatnam, Rajendranagar, and Attapur would receive witness heavy rains.
"More and more powerful thunderstorms will form in the next hour," said T Balaji, a Telangana weatherman.
"As expected, a heavy rainstorm has erupted in Hyderabad, mostly in Malakpet, Nampally, Charminar, Saroornagar, Saidabad, Bahadurpura, and Bandlaguda, and will also affect Falaknuma, Mehdipatnam, Rajendranagar, and Attapur. One more spell at Neredmet will encompass the territories of Malkajgiri and Secunderabad," he added.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, thunderstorms with lightning very likely to occur on May 9 in the Telangana districts of Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagityal, Rajanna Sirciilla, Karimnagar, Peddapally, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajigiri, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthi, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal.
