KOLKATA: Following a series of consecutive losses, Pakistan came back stronger by scoring a resounding victory over Bangladesh tonight.

The win was a collective from both their batsmen and bowlers, resulting in a convincing 7-wicket win. Fakhar Zaman's outstanding performance earned him the well-deserved "Man of the Match."

In the first innings, Bangladesh struggled, losing three wickets with only 23 runs on the board. However, Litton Das (45) and Mahmudullah's (56) partnership of 79 runs steadied their innings.

Fakhar Zaman's (81) powerful performance dazzled the audience, while Shafique (68) displayed cautious brilliance, reaching his fifty. Following their departure, Mohammed Rizwan and Iftikhar Ahmed guided Pakistan to victory, reaching 205/3 in just 32.3 overs.

This loss confirms Bangladesh's elimination from the semifinal contention, while Pakistan's chances of qualifying still hinge on the outcomes of other games.
