Independence Day weekend: Hyderabad Metro launches Rs 59 unlimited metro pass

HYDERABAD: Marking the 77th Independence Day, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) has announced 'Super Saver Freedom Offer,' for its riders with an aim to enhance the commuting experience during the extended Independence Day weekend.

This offer would enable passengers to enjoy unlimited metro rides on August 12, 13, and 15, 2023, by simply recharging their Super Saver Metro Holiday Card with just Rs 59. The Independence Day special promotion seeks to encourage more people to opt for metro travel during the long Independence Day weekend.

According to an official press release issued on Friday, HMRL Managing Director and CEO KVB Reddy said, “The objective extends beyond offering the exclusive advantages to individuals and plays a pivotal role in promoting the overall development of the city, by reducing traffic congestion, promotion of sustainable commuting, and fostering a greener environment.
