Jubilee police arrest eight in Hyderabad businessman murder case
Following the incident, a case was swiftly registered under sections 147, 148, 302, and 120-B read with 149 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) in Jubilee hills police station
HYDERABAD: Jubilee Hills police nabbed eight persons on Friday for the gruesome murder of a 36-year-old businessman in LN Nagar, Yousufguda, Hyderabad, on February 7, 2024.
The individuals identified as Indugula Manikanta, Daravath Vinod Kumar, Mohd. Khaisar, Kavali Shivakumar, Kappala Nikhil, Tunna Kumar, and others, reportedly killed Putta Ramu out of past grudges and jealousy.
All the accused collaborated in plotting the murder of Putta Ramu, a businessman from Nizampet, and brutally stabbed him to death in LN Nagar, Yousufguda on February 7, 2024.
Following the incident, a case was swiftly registered under sections 147, 148, 302, and 120-B read with 149 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) in Jubilee hills police station.
Based on the information, Jubilee Hills inspector K. Venkateswar Reddy, along with his team, apprehended the prime suspects, Indugula Manikanta and his associates, on February 9, 2024, at 7 a.m. The team also recovered knives and a vehicle believed to have been used during the commission of the crime.
Additionally, two individuals identified as Pathan Naseema and Himambi were arrested for abetting the offence and their involvement in running a brothel house.
The arrests were under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police, S.M Vijay Kumar, and Assistant Commissioner of Police, K. Hari Prasad.
