HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President and Telangana Minister for Industries and IT, KT Rama Rao (KTR), on Friday strongly objected to the allegations levelled by conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Sukesh, the main accused in a Rs 200 crore money laundering case, made a massive claim that KTR had offered him sops to withdraw statements made by him against his sister and former minister Kalvakuntla Kavitha in the Delhi Liquor Scam.

Taking to Twitter, KTR said, “Just learnt from media that a delusional fraudster and a noted criminal called Sukesh has made some ludicrous allegations about me I have never heard of this rogue and intend to pursue strong legal action against him for his nonsensical utterances Request media also to be circumspect when publishing such wild comments/claims from fibsters.”

In separate letters written to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and the Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Sukesh alleged that close associates of BRS MLC K Kavitha and KTR had offered him Rs 100 crore, land at Shamshabad and a ticket for the upcoming State Assembly elections.

Sukesh mentioned that close associates of Kavitha and KTR had allegedly offered sops to him to share the statements and evidence (WhatsApp Chat copies/Screenshots, recordings) given to the Enforcement Directorate about them and the leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) regarding the liquor scam. The conman also claimed that he was threatened of a ‘worse situation’ if he didn't agree to their terms.
