Land grabber booked for obstructing duties of police in Jubilee Hills police station

HYDERABAD: A person, accused with land grabbing, was booked for obstructing the duties of police in Jubilee Hills police station after an elderly couple filed a case against the former alleging encroachment of their land.

According to the police, Moya Rabindranath, who was involved in several land-grabbing cases and accused in a case of encroachment of parkland in Satwa Enclave Colony at Road No 8 in Jubilee Hills, has tried to grab a house of an elderly couple. The elderly couple along with the other victims complained to the Jubilee Hills police about encroachments.

Moya Rabindranath, who was anguished after knowing that a few victims went to the police station to complain against him, rammed into the Circle Inspector's chamber and created ruckus displaying weapons.

The Jubilee Hills Police registered a case under IPC 353 and investigating into the allegations against the accused.
