HYDERABAD: All wine shops, bars, and pubs will remain closed on Sunday in view of the counting of votes in Hyderabad. They will remain closed until the end of counting. The orders came from the three Commissioners of Police Sandeep Sandilya, Stephen Ravindra and DS Chouhan on Saturday.

The police who were taking all steps to create a peaceful and conducive environment for the counting of votes polled on November 30, had declared the closure of all liquor-selling outlets.

The police also imposed section 144 from Sunday morning 6 am till Monday morning 6 am. These restrictions would be placed near the vicinity of the counting centres. general public were advised not to gather in groups more than five in number and not to fire crackers near the counting centres.
