Lokesh takes blessings, sets out for Yuva Galam padayatra from Kuppam
He started from his residence after taking the blessings of his parents, TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Bhuvaneshwari
HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) National General Secretary Nara Lokesh on Wednesday set out from his residence in Jubilee Hills to embark on a long padayatra, themed Yuva Galam from Kuppam on January 27.
He started from his residence after taking the blessings of his parents, TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Bhuvaneshwari. His wife Brahmani applied tilak on his forehead, wishing him all the success in his arduous endeavour. His uncle and Tollywood actor Balakrishna gave a personal sendoff by escorting Lokesh to his convoy.
Lokesh later visited the NTR Ghat near Hussain Sagar and paid homage to his late grandfather and the TDP patriarch. He then proceeded to Shamshabad airport from where he flew to Kadapa.
From Kadapa, he will reach Kuppam from where he will embark on his Yuva Galam padayatra on January 27. As per the schedule, he will be walking across the length and breadth of Andhra Pradesh for 400 days covering 4,000 km.
