HYDERABAD: Top infrastructure companies L&T Ltd and NCC Ltd were the two bidders competing for the Rs 5,688 crore Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) tender of the Hyderabad Airport Metro. The tender was released by Hyderabad Airport Metro Ltd (HAML) at Rail Bhavan on Thursday.
Both the companies submitted voluminous documents highlighting their respective project execution experience, technical and financial strengths, audited financial statements etc., apart from Security Deposit of Rs 29 crore each in the form of Bank Guarantees, said HAML MD NVS Reddy.
The bid documents, containing details regarding their eligibility qualification criteria, proposed deployment of skilled manpower, machinery, construction methodology, construction schedule, design basis reports of different civil structures and systems of the Airport Metro project etc., would be scrutinized by the experts of GC(Systra-led General Consultants) and senior technical officers of HAML.
He also said that the evaluation of bids would take about 10 days and the evaluation and recommendations of HAML would be submitted to the government.
