Man killed for reprimanding youth for harassing his niece in Balapur

HYDERABAD: A youth brutally hacked a man to death for reprimanding him for harassing and assaulting the man’s niece in Balapur of Hyderabad. The incident created a stir locally.

According to police, a family migrated from Bihar was staying in Balapur. A young man named Banti from the same area was allegedly harassing a girl from the family for some time now.

Upon knowing that his brother's daughter was being harassed, the girl's uncle Kashap reprimanded Banti and warned him not to assault his niece.

However, Banti who developed a grudge against Kashap, as per the plan brutally murdered him. The police registered a case and investigating it further.

Woman killed in a road accident at Film Nagar, leaving her children orphaned

In a tragic incident, a widowed woman driving a scooty was killed on being hit by a auto trolley at BJR Nagar Road under Film Nagar Police station limits in Hyderabad, leaving her three children orphaned.

The deceased, identified as Sandhya, was living in Film Nagar with her three children alone, after her husband Vishnu's suicide a year ago.

Sandhya who was traveling on a scooty as part of her daily chores was hit by an auto trolley and was injured severely. However, she breathed her last while being shifted to the hospital.

With the death of the parents in one year, the children were orphaned and looking for help.
