Musi riverfront to be developed akin to Sabarmati, Yamuna banks

HYDERABAD: A team of officers under the management of Musi Riverfront Development Corporation (MRDCL) Managing Director (MD) Amrapali visited the Ahmedabad Sabarmati riverfront project in the state of Gujarat and also met studied the Yamuna River.

Musi Riverfront Project MD Amrapali visited Ahmedabad on January 3 and later visited on Saturday visited Yamuna project. She examined the sewage treatment plants (STPs) connected to the respective projects and their capacity.

On this occasion, Central Government Namami Ganga Project Director General (DG) Ashok Kumar discussed with IAS officers of Telangana and explained their experiences to Amrapali.

Ahmedabad Municipal Commissioner Thennarasan, Sabarmati River Project Chief Engineer (CE) Jagdish Patel, General Manager (GM) Sushant Bhatia, Namami Ganga Project Executive Director (ED) Vishista, senior officers senior officers N. K. Madan, Piyush Gupta and other officers of Musi Riverfront held a meeting with Telangana officials.
