Polymer company duped Rs. 7.5 lakh with e-mail spoofing in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Cyber criminals have duped a polymer company of Rs. 7.5 lakh with the e-mail spoofing in Bagh Amberpet located in the suburbs of Hyderabad.

A company named ABR Organic in Bagh Amberpet collaborated with a Chinese company and was running the polymer business for some time now by contacting through e-mail id.

The fraudsters created a fake e-mail id resembling the Chinese company and informed the ABR Organic company of the change of the bank account.

ABR company, which is unaware of the fraud sent Rs. 7.5 lakh to the account.of cybercriminals. The company complained to the City Cyber Crimes department.
