Private hostel management attacks youngster for using water

HYDERABAD: In a shocking incident, a youngster was allegedly attacked by hostel management for using water in Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar, Hyderabad.

The incident occurred when the victim visited a private hostel in Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar to meet his friend. However, he was attacked during a skirmish when he used water from the hostel premises, according to reports.

The video of the incident has surfaced online, showing members of the hostel management thrashing the youngster outside the hostel premises. Despite the Telangana Government denying all claims of water scarcity, several reports of water scarcity have arisen in the city.

This incident raises only one question: If there is abundant availability of water, why would these brawls happen?
