Punjagutta police arrest 2 inspectors in ex-DSP Praneeth Rao case
The investigation authorities are probing their alleged role in tapping the communication between Praneeth Rao and the two CIs
HYDERABAD: Two Circle Inspectors (CIs) were arrested by Punjagutta police in connection with the former DSP Praneeth Rao's phone tapping case.
Reports suggest that these CIs, currently stationed in Warangal, were apprehended as part of the ongoing investigation. Both officers were taken into custody and transported to an undisclosed location in Hyderabad for inquiry.

The Punjagutta police took Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) D Praneeth Rao into custody a week ago for further investigation into his alleged involvement in erasing intelligence information from electronic devices and the phone tapping issue during his tenure at the Special Intelligence Bureau (SIB).
