HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Public School(HPS), Begumpet concluded its centenary summer camp on Saturday with a grand art exhibition. A combination of fun and learning, this summer camp was a month-long treat for students at the Hyderabad Public School.

Actor Rana Daggubati, an alumnus from the Batch of 2002, was the event's Chief Guest, along with I/C Principal Amrita Chandra Raju and President of The Hyderabad Public School Society Gusti J. Noria.

The art exhibition showcased the abilities that students learned and accomplished throughout the centenary summer camp. The event also featured live food counters with fireless cooking and a series of calligraphy artworks, which were followed by a captivating western dance performance.

The audience was mesmerised by the flawless execution of dance steps and infectious energy of the young dancers. The classic tale of Tenali Ramakrishna was presented through a musical skit, taking the audience on a laughter ride.

Appreciating the young talent, Rana Daggubati said, “HPS is a dream school. As an actor, watching the students dance and act was very overwhelming and brought back so many memories. HPS gave me the opportunity to discover my passion for movies and I hope to work with one of these young talents in the future.”

The closing ceremony was an emotional time for both students and staff, as the month-long camp concluded with fond memories. In addition to day-to-day training, students participating in special sessions led by Olympian Alex Anthony and K. Hindola, a sports psychologist, during the summer camp.

The audience commended students for their outstanding performance. Students dedicated the performance to their teachers, who contributed to making the summer camp a huge success. The camp was a huge success as teachers and students wholeheartedly enjoyed the programs and expressed their love and gratitude through the performances.
