Revanth challenges KTR to win atleast one seat in Lok Sabha polls
Targetting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP, Revanth said, "Modi promised to provide two crore jobs per year. Did Modi give 20 crore jobs in these ten years?"
CHEVELLA: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has called upon the Congress cadres to build on the momentum garnered during the Telangana Assembly elections and work with the same enthusiasm for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Speaking during a public meeting in Chevella on Tuesday, Revanth said that he would never forget the sacrifices of the Congress cadres which ensured the victory of the party and that he would repay the debt by appointing the cadres as ZPTCs, MPTCs and various other nominated posts. Revanth Reddy then challenged BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) to win one MP seat in the upcoming elections.
Taking a dig at the previous Government, Revanth said, "K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) worked only to give jobs to daughter, son, son-in-law and relatives in the last 10 years. But within two months of coming to power, we gave appointment letters to 25,000 people. Soon we will organise a mega DSC (District Selection Committee) and fill two lakh jobs."
Targetting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP, Revanth said, "Modi promised to provide two crore jobs per year. Did Modi give 20 crore jobs in these ten years? Modi and KCR have done great injustice to Telangana together. The Gujarat model is to tear apart parties and bring down Governments. Modi's model is to threaten parties by using institutions like the ED, CBI and IT."
